Japan Open: Mochizuki books spot in second round v Fritz, gets past Etcheverry in straight sets
Shintaro Mochizuki beat Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-4, 7-6 (5) on Tuesday night and will play American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, in the next round

Japanese wildcard Shintaro Mochizuki advanced to the second round of the Japan Open by beating Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo on Tuesday night.
Mochizuki, ranked No 215, will play American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, next.
