Spaniard Rebeka Masarova, the No 4 seed, won against German Noma Noha Akugue 6-4, 6-0 to reach the second round of the Transylvania Open at the BTarena in Cluj-Napoca on Monday.
Masarova, ranked No 67, will play the winner of the match between Romanian wildcard Miriam Bulgaru and lucky loser Ipek Oz next.
