The organizers of UTS Seoul have announced the postponement of UTS Seoul. The next UTS event will therefore be the Grand Final, in London, from December 15 to 17, 2023, at ExCel London.

The UTS Grand Final in London is taking shape with four of the world’s most exciting players now qualified for the showpiece event of the ground-breaking competition that has thrilled crowds all over the world in 2023.

Andrey “Rublo” Rublev, Yibing “The Great Wall” Wu, Gaël “La Monf” Monfils and Casper “The Iceman” Ruud are all confirmed for the eight-man event, which will take place from December 15-17 at ExCeL London, one of the UK’s leading exhibition and conference centres.

World No 5 Rublev from Russia and China’s Wu are assured of their spots in London thanks to their wins at UTS Los Angeles and UTS Frankfurt respectively.

Frenchman Monfils is guaranteed his place due to his points total and his participation in the upcoming UTS Seoul event, which means he cannot be overhauled in the points race. Ruud is also into the Grand Final after being granted the first wild card.

Four places still up for grabs

Four places are still available to be won for the Grand Final, which is the culmination of the 2023 UTS Tour. After stops in Los Angeles, Frankfurt and Seoul (to be held in late November), the winner in London will be crowned UTS Champion for 2023.

There are three ways to qualify for the UTS Grand Final:

1. Winning an edition tournament: each winner of a 2023 UTS event is automatically qualified for the Grand Final.
2. UTS Race ranking qualification: the top three players in the race ranking (excluding winners of UTS 2023 tournaments).
3. Wild Card: there will be at least two wild cards handed out.

UTS matches consist of four quarters of eight minutes, with only one serve and a maximum of 15 seconds between points. With music in the background throughout, the fast-paced event is the proving to be the ultimate form of tennis entertainment.

UTS Seoul to decide remaining places

The last four places for the UTS Grand Final will be decided at the third UTS event of the year, which will be held in Seoul, from November 30-Dec 2.

Nick “King” Kyrgios, “La Monf” Gael Monfils, “The Machine” Soon-Woo Kwon, “The Bublik Enemy” Alexander Bublik, Richard Gasquet “The Virtuoso”, Jan-Lennard Struff “The Thunder”, Reilly Opelka “The Bot” and Milos Raonic “The Missile” are all signed up for the first ever Asian leg of the UTS Tour.
