Astana Open: Rodionov books spot in second round
Jurij Rodionov edged out Gregoire Barrere 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5) on Thursday night and will face second seed Sebastian Baez in the next round

Austrian qualifier Jurij Rodionov reached the second round of the Astana Open by edging out Frenchman Gregoire Barrere 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the Daulet National Tennis Center on Thursday night.
Rodionov, ranked No 107, will face second seed Sebastian Baez next.
