Astana Open: Borges reaches second round
Nuno Borges edged out Mikhail Kukushkin 5-7, 7-6 (6), 6-4 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between Australian Alexei Popyrin and American Sebastian Korda, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Portuguese Nuno Borges edged out Kazakh wildcard Mikhail Kukushkin 5-7, 7-6 (6), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Astana Open at the Daulet National Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon.
Borges, ranked No 86, will face the winner of the match between Australian Alexei Popyrin and American Sebastian Korda, the No 5 seed, next.
