Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 7 seed, defeated German wildcard Silvia Ambrosio 6-2, 6-2 to reach the last 16 of the Parma Ladies Open on Monday evening.

Bondar, ranked No 105, will play Croat qualifier Antonia Ruzic next.
