Croat qualifier Antonia Ruzic moved into the last 16 of the Parma Ladies Open by winning against Italian wildcard Giorgia Pedone 6-3, 7-6 (2) on Monday afternoon.
Ruzic, ranked No 320, will face the winner of the match between Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 7 seed, and German wildcard Silvia Ambrosio next.
