Romanian Miriam Bulgaru moved into the last 16 of the Zavarovalnica Sava Ljubljana by edging out American qualifier Ashley Lahey 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Bulgaru, ranked No 201, will face the winner of the match between Slovenian Kaja Juvan, the No 6 seed, and qualifier Gabriela Knutson next.
