Top seed Lin Zhu moved into the last 16 of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships by defeating Xiyu Wang 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Zhu, ranked No 35, will play Japanese wildcard Moyuka Uchijima next.
