Japanese qualifier Himeno Sakatsume advanced to the last 16 of the Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships by beating Filipino qualifier Alexandra Eala 6-0, 6-3 on Tuesday.
Sakatsume, ranked No 184, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 3 seed, and Swiss Jil Teichmann next.
