Bouzkova beats Garcia for fourth time in a row to reach last 16 at Montreal

Marie Bouzkova reached the last 16 of the Canadian Open by defeating Frenchwoman Caroline Garciaa, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at Stade IGA in Montreal on Tuesday night.

With the win, Bouzkova improved to 4-0 lifetime against Garcia, including wins in the last two editions of Wimbledon.

Bouzkova, ranked No 37, will face the winner of the match between Anna Blinkova and No 10 seed Daria Kasatkina next.
