Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 8 seed, won against Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova 7-5, 7-6 (5) to move into the last 16 of the Polish Open on Tuesday.
Yastremska, ranked No 149, will play Colombian Emiliana Arango next.
