Brazilian wild card Thiago Seyboth Wild advanced to the second round of the Generali Open by defeating Austrian qualifier Dennis Novak 6-3, 6-4 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club in Kitzbuhel on Tuesday evening.
Seyboth Wild, ranked No 117, will face Serb Laslo Djere, the No 5 seed, next.
