Citi Open: Ruusuvuori through to second round

Finn Emil Ruusuvuori won against Frenchman Constant Lestienne 6-4, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Citi Open at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center in Washington on Monday evening.
It was a straight forward match for Ruusuvuori, with the Finn breaking serve early in both sets and holding on to his advantage for a straight sets victory in the hot Washington conditions. The world No 55 will face No 10 seed Yoshihito Nishioka next, who had a bye in his first round.
