Wimbledon: Hurkacz wins in straight sets, meets Musetti in third round

Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 17 seed, reached the third round of Wimbledon by winning against wildcard Jan Choinski 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 (3) at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday.

Hurkacz, ranked No 18, will face Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 14 seed, next.

The Pole defeated Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas (6-1, 6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.

In the first round of The Championships, Choinski, ranked No 164, won against Serb Dusan Lajovic (5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-2, 6-2).
