Bad Homburg Open: Siniakova beats Rodina to reach quarter-finals
Katerina Siniakova won against Evgeniya Rodina 6-2, 6-4 and will play Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the second seed, in the next round

Czech Katerina Siniakova reached the quarter-finals of the Bad Homburg Open by beating Russian Evgeniya Rodina 6-2, 6-4 at Bod Hombourg vor der Höhe.
Siniakova, ranked No 52, will play Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the second seed, next.
The Czech won against Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the No 7 seed (6-3, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Bad Hombourg tournament, Rodina, ranked No 314, defeated American lucky loser Katie Volynets (6-0, 6-4).
