Mallorca Open: Lucky loser Kotov shocks Davidovich Fokina, reaches last eight

Russian lucky loser Pavel Kotov edged out Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the second seed, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Mallorca Open at Mallorca Country Club on Tuesday evening.
Kotov, ranked No 116, will play South African qualifier Lloyd Harris next.
The Russian defeated Australian qualifier Li Tu (7-6 (4), 6-3) ahead of his victory.
