Christopher Eubanks edged out lucky loser Alex Michelsen 6-3, 6-7 (6), 7-5 to move into the second round of the Mallorca Open at Mallorca Country Club on Monday.
Eubanks, ranked No 77, will play No 3 seed Ben Shelton next.
