Dutch Open: Ruusuvuori edges out Humbert in three sets, advances to last eight

Finn Emil Ruusuvuori moved into the quarter-finals of the Dutch Open by edging out Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 7 seed, 6-2, 6-7 (6), 6-4 at the Autotron Rosmalen in s-Hertogenbosch on Wednesday.
Ruusuvuori, ranked No 42, will face the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Bublik and Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed, next.
The Finn won against American Brandon Nakashima (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the’s-Hertogenbosch tournament.
During the first round of the Rosmalen, Humbert, ranked No 36, defeated Australian Jason Kubler (6-4, 6-2).
