Roland-Garros: Cerundolo beats Hanfmann in straight sets to sail into third round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 23 seed, won against German lucky loser Yannick Hanfmann 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the third round of Roland-Garros.

Cerundolo, ranked No 23, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech and American Taylor Fritz, the No 9 seed, next.

In the previous round, the Argentinian defeated Spaniard Jaume Munar (6-1, 2-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1).

Hanfmann, ranked No 65, beat Brazilian Thiago Monteiro (6-3, 7-5, 6-7 (6), 6-7 (2), 6-4) in the first round.
