Trophée Clarins: France’s Parry downs Noskova to reach semi-finals
Diane Parry won against Linda Noskova 7-5, 6-2 on Friday. She’ll play second seed Varvara Gracheva in the next round

Frenchwoman Diane Parry reached the last four of the Trophée Clarins by winning against Czech Linda Noskova, the No 4 seed, 7-5, 6-2 at the Lagardère Paris Racing on Friday afternoon.
Parry, ranked No 109, will face second seed Varvara Gracheva next.
The 20-year-old Frenchman edged out wildcard Selena Janicijevic (1-6, 6-2, 6-4) and defeated Chinese Yue Yuan (6-2, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Noskova, ranked No 54, edged out French lucky loser Elsa Jacquemot (6-1, 2-6, 6-4) and won against Canadian Katherine Sebov (7-5, 6-2).
