Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska beat Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo 7-6 (5), 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Catalonia Open on Wednesday.
Yastremska, ranked No 149, will play the winner of the match between Kamilla Rakhimova and No 5 seed Anna Blinkova next.
