Yosuke Watanuki won against Corentin Moutet 6-3, 6-3 on Thursday and will play No 11 seed Cameron Norrie in the next round

Japanese qualifier Yosuke Watanuki advanced to the second round of the Madrid Masters by beating Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-3, 6-3 at the Caja Magica on Thursday.
Watanuki, ranked No 117, will play No 11 seed Cameron Norrie next.
