Banja Luka Open: Rublev maintains hot streak to reach semi-finals

Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed, reached the semi-finals of the Banja Luka Open by beating Bosnian wildcard Damir Dzumhur 7-5, 6-3 at the Tennis Klub Mladost on Friday afternoon.
Rublev, ranked No 6 and the champion in Monte-Carlo last week, extended his win streak to seven matches. He will face Slovak Alex Molcan next.
The Russian won against Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (6-2, 6-2) in the previous round of the Banja Luka tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Dzumhur, ranked No 202, defeated lucky loser Liam Broady (6-3, 6-0) and edged out Frenchman Richard Gasquet, the No 7 seed (6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (3)).
