BMW Open: Giron makes second round
Marcos Giron beat Roberto Carballes Baena 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 on Monday and will face the winner of the match between Swiss qualifier Alexander Ritschard and German Jan-Lennard Struff in the next round

American Marcos Giron won against Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, the No 7 seed, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 to move into the second round of the BMW Open at the MTTC Iphitos complex in Munich on Monday.
Giron, ranked No 68, will play the winner of the match between Swiss qualifier Alexander Ritschard and German Jan-Lennard Struff next.
