Marrakech Open: Qualifier Vavassori sets up quarter-final with second seed Evans
Andrea Vavassori edged out Jaume Munar 6-7 (4), 7-6 (6), 6-4 on Thursday and will face second seed Daniel Evans in the next round

Italian qualifier Andrea Vavassori moved into the quarter-finals of the Marrakech Open by edging out Spaniard Jaume Munar 6-7 (4), 7-6 (6), 6-4 at the Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech on Thursday.
Vavassori, ranked No 201, will play second seed Daniel Evans next.
The Italian defeated Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 8 seed (6-2, 3-6, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Moroccan Open, Munar, ranked No 83, won against Moroccan wildcard Elliot Benchetrit (6-4, 6-4).
