Chinese Shuai Zhang, the top seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Crèdit Andorrà Open by winning against Serb wildcard Nina Stojanovic 6-1, 6-4 on Tuesday evening.
Zhang, ranked No 24, will play the winner of the match between American Sophie Chang and Dutchwoman Bibiane Schoofs next.
