Crèdit Andorrà Open: Snigur makes last 16

Daria Snigur defeated Georgina Garcia Perez 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday evening and will face Swede Rebecca Peterson in the next round

Ukrainian Daria Snigur, the No 7 seed, reached the last 16 of the Crèdit Andorrà Open by winning against Spanish wildcard Georgina Garcia Perez 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday evening.

Snigur, ranked No 146, will face Swede Rebecca Peterson next.
