American Alycia Parks defeated Czech Linda Noskova, the No 4 seed, 7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Crèdit Andorrà Open on Tuesday.
Parks, ranked No 134, will face Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin next.
