Argentina Open: Errani through to quarter-finals

Italian Sara Errani, the No 6 seed, moved into the last eight of the Argentina Open by winning against Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl 6-3, 6-3 at Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Thursday evening.
Errani, ranked No 108, will face Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 3 seed, next.
The 35-year-old Italian beat Frenchwoman Clara Burel (6-4, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Baindl, ranked No 113, defeated Turk lucky loser Ipek Oz (4-6, 6-4, 6-3).
