Robin Anderson advanced to the second round of the Dow Tennis Classic by edging out Katrina Scott 4-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5 at Greater Midland Tennis Center on Wednesday evening.
Anderson, ranked No 149, will play Japanese Nao Hibino next.
