American Tommy Paul, the No 8 seed, won against Swede wildcard Leo Borg 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 to reach the second round of the Stockholm Open at the Kungliga Tennishallen on Tuesday evening.
Leo Borg is legendary Bjorn Borg’s son. Aged 19 and ranked 577, he played only his third ATP event. The first one was Stockholm one year ago, when he lost against… Tommy Paul !
Paul, now ranked No 31 and trophy holder, will play Swede Mikael Ymer next.
