Florence Open: Home favourite Musetti books spot in quarter-finals

Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 3 seed, won against Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles 6-3, 6-0 to advance to the last eight of the Florence Open at the Palazzo Wanny on Thursday afternoon.

Musetti, ranked No 28, will play American Mackenzie McDonald next.

In the previous round of the Florence, Zapata Miralles, ranked No 74, defeated Italian Lorenzo Sonego (6-4, 6-4).
