Transylvania Open: Blinkova advances to round of 16
Anna Blinkova defeated Anastasia Zakharova 6-1, 7-6 (7) on Monday and will play the winner of the match between Pole Magda Linette, the No 5 seed, and Chinese Xinyu Wang in the next round
Anna Blinkova beat fellow qualifier Anastasia Zakharova 6-1, 7-6 (7) to advance to the round of 16 at the Transylvania Open on Monday.
Blinkova, ranked No 138, will face the winner of the match between Pole Magda Linette, the No 5 seed, and Chinese Xinyu Wang next.
