Belarusian Ilya Ivashka edged out Swede Mikael Ymer 7-6 (8), 4-6, 7-5 to move into the second round of the Sofia Open at the Arena Armeec Sofia on Monday evening.
Ivashka, ranked No 71, will play No 3 seed Grigor Dimitrov next.
