Elisabetta Cocciaretto won against Raluka Serban 7-6 (5), 6-3 on Tuesday evening. She’ll face Italian Sara Errani in the next round

Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the No 5 seed, beat Cypriot Raluka Serban 7-6 (5), 6-3 to advance to the last 16 of the Open delle Puglie on Tuesday evening.

Cocciaretto, ranked No 99, will play Italian Sara Errani next.
