Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the No 8 seed, defeated Australian John Millman 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Ramos-Vinolas, ranked No 42, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Adrian Mannarino and Finn Emil Ruusuvuori, the No 9 seed, next.
Millman, ranked No 104, won against Frenchman Hugo Gaston (6-2, 6-3) in the previous round of the Winston-Salem.
