Hungarian Reka Luca Jani won against Romanian wildcard Briana Szabo 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Lasi Open at Baza Sportivă Ciric in Iasi on Tuesday night.
Jani, ranked No 135, will face the winner of the match between Greek Despina Papamichail and Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the second seed, next.
