Facundo Bagnis reached the second round of the Croatia Open by winning against Tomas Martin Etcheverry 7-5, 6-3 at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag on Tuesday.
Bagnis, ranked No 120, will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Corentin Moutet and German Daniel Altmaier, the No 6 seed, next.
