Swiss Open: Swiss Ritschard, No 190, moves into second round, defeating Sousa
Alexander Ritschard won against João Sousa 6-3, 6-3 on Monday evening and will play the winner of the match between Jaume Munar and Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the next round
Swiss wildcard Alexander Ritschard reached the second round of the Swiss Open by defeating Portuguese João Sousa, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 6-3 at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad on Monday evening.
Ritschard, ranked No 190, will face the winner of the match between Jaume Munar and Bernabe Zapata Miralles next.
