Su Jeong Jang won against Viktoriya Tomova 6-2, 6-3 on Friday and will play the winner of the match between American Lauren Davis, the No 6 seed, and Spaniard Rebeka Masarova in the final
Su Jeong Jang won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-2, 6-3 to move into the final of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Friday.
Jang, ranked No 155, will face the winner of the match between American Lauren Davis, the No 6 seed, and Spaniard Rebeka Masarova next.
Ahead of her victory, Su Jeong Jang defeated Frenchwoman Clara Burel, the No 3 seed (6-2, 6-1), Russian Irina Khromacheva (6-0, 6-1) and Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 5 seed (6-4, 7-5).
Tomova, ranked No 112, beat Swede wildcard Jacqueline Cabaj Awad (6-3, 6-2), Turk Ipek Oz (6-2, 3-6, 6-2) and Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu (6-3, 6-0) earlier in the tournament.
