Grand Est Open: Errani makes semi-finals

Sara Errani moved into the semi-finals of the Grand Est Open by beating qualifier Camilla Rosatello 6-2, 6-3 at Tennis Club de Contrexéville on Friday.
Errani, ranked No 161, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Cristina Bucsa and Frenchwoman Jessika Ponchet next.
Ahead of her victory, Sara Errani won against Russian Oksana Selekhmeteva (7-6 (5), 6-3) and edged out Serb Olga Danilovic (2-6, 6-2, 6-4).
Rosatello, ranked No 301, defeated Mexican Fernanda Contreras Gomez (7-6 (4), 7-6 (1)) and French qualifier Alice Robbe (7-6 (7), 6-1) earlier in the tournament.
