Chinese Yue Yuan moved into the second round of the Nordea Open by winning against Australian Olivia Tjandramulia 6-3, 6-1 at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Tuesday.
Yuan, ranked No 152, will play Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu next.
