Stuttgart Open: Kyrgios returns after two months to reach second round
After skipping the entire European clay court season, Nick Kyrgios scored a straight sets win in the first round of the ATP Stuttgart Open

Australia’s Nick Kyrgios advanced to the second round of the Stuttgart Open by beating Czech Jiri Lehecka 7-6 [3], 6-3 at Tennis Club Weissenhof on Tuesday afternoon.
Kyrgios, ranked No 78 in the world, was playing his first tournament since Houston in early April after he decided to skip the entire European clay court stretch.
Kyrgios will take on either fifth seed Nikoloz Basilashvili, of Georgia, or Italian youngster Lorenzo Musetti in the second round.
